For our challenge I made an Icream cone folded card with this adorable little sitting hippo on top. I used the circut machine to cut out my card and the icream the stamp I hand colored using warm and cool grey tones. Altered frame

Okay so what you see here is an old silver frame that holds a 5x7 picture. I am working an a Halloween party for Jens digi stamps and thought this would be a great way to show off one of the halloween stamps tha she has designed. In the first picture you can see i have started applying acrylic paint, I used Tim Holtz twilight purple ( halloween color) to start the covering up of the silver. Next I used a heat tool to blow air over the paint to help it dry I than applyed a second coat over the edging of the frame being carefull not to get it on the glass. After it dryed for a couple hours I took some crackel pain ( again Tim Holtz Rock candy ) and appyled it all over the purple and let it dry, when it drys it gives a cracked aged feel to the frame I than placed the digital image from Jens Diti stamps in the corner with glossy accents, as it drys expediantly and there you have it a cute little halloween frame ready to put your little ghosts, or other creatures in to it. Trying something new.

So I know I havent posted in a couple days. It is because I have been attempting to Help my Mom finish up 40 book marks to send home with a bunch of Kindergardners for school! But I have also been working on a set of cards and an Altered picture frame. I ll post pictures sometime this week.

These cute little bugs are from Jens Digi stamps. Here is her web site so you can run over and grab this little image for your self(http://www.jensdigistamps.com/). This is a bigger card for me It is actually a half fold card from an 8 1/2 by 11 inch peice of stampin up Chocolate chip card stalk. The frames you see are from the elegant edges circut cartridge the bottom frome is scallops and the size 6 inches the upper frame is 5 1/2 inchec both frames are made out of melon mambo stampin up paper the Happy birthday is put on a nestibility lable with printed out sentiment from the computer with some silly Fonts my Mom has on her computer. I colored the bugs with copic markers Yellows purples and the cupcakes done in pinks and browns. I also used Rock candy Crackel paint by Tim holtz on the wings and the cupcake wraper to give it a cracked appearance.

I just love this little bug who got caught in a Jar. I made this little guy usind pokadots and paisly (retired ) stampin up paper. a flower punch, baha breeze and old olive designer paper. Chalk,back to school.

This little dragon was so much fun to paint using twinkel water colors they seem to have a very viberant color and shimmering effect. I made this for the Letter C swap, the c is the chalk board that the little dragon is sitting on. I used cherry cobler paper and basic black from stampin up. Im not sure where the little dragon came from he was sitting there lonely on my computer just begging to be colored. Hope you all have a blessed day.

Back to the 80's

I made this card for Jens Digi contest this morning that she is hosting on face book. She is colored with copic markers, and on some stampin up basic black. I used the Martha stewart bubble edge punch for the ribbion under the corner triangle. The flower paper was actually some older scraps that I had laying around. Off to make more memories .
